The heat of a Hong Kong summer is notoriously brutal. Whether it’s the blazing sun, the insufferable humidity or torrential rain, a hot day in Hong Kong can leave you sweaty and sticky all over. This pool in the heart of Wan Chai is a favourite amongst families. With a main pool, an outdoor leisure pool and a Jacuzzi, there’s enough space for the whole family to swim and relax. Plus, if the kids can’t seem to use up all their energy in the water, they can head across to the nearby Belcher’s Bay Park for some fresh air and a run around the outdoor playground.

With three sessions a day, this Sai Kung pool is perfect for parents who want to do some laps and work up a sweat while the kids splash away in their own pool area. And there’s a good selection of waterslides and other activities that the kids can enjoy – think water-squirting dolphins, sharks and other animals, floating mini aquatic creatures to sit on, a waterfall and water fountains, plus a pirate ship complete with water cannons!
